Changing a package’s status

pyx supports the project status markers standard for communicating the status of a package to downstream users.
A package’s status is not permanent and can be updated at any time.
Changing a package’s status can affect its installability as well as your team’s ability to upload new releases. See the explanation of each status in the standard above for details.
1
Navigate to the project in the pyx dashboard.
2
Select the “Settings” tab.
3
In the “Package status” section, click the “Update status” button.
4
Select the desired status from the dropdown menu and add an optional reason for the status change.
After you update a package’s status, the new status will be reflected in the package’s index metadata and on the pyx dashboard.
